Victim families have testified Pakistan military, para-military and secret services are responsible for the abductions. The longest-ever protest so far has been that of the family of Zakir Majeed, senior vice chairman of Baloch Students Organization, who was abducted on June 8, 2009 by Pakistani intelligence agencies from Mastung.Talking to newsmen, Dr. Farzana Majeed, a sister of the victim Zakir Majeed, said that she and her family have been protesting non-stop for four months. “They (Pakistani security forces) are not telling us anything about the condition of Zakir Majeed, let alone releasing or recovering him. We have submitted appeals to the highest court of this country. We have used all democratic ways and means of protest but it seems the people sitting in Pakistan courts are deaf, dumb and blind.”She regretted that the so-called champions of human rights were also acting as silent spectators on human rights violations in Balochistan.Dr. Farzana Majeed urged the U.N. and other international human rights organizations to break their silence and initiate sanctions against Pakistani military and para-military forces for their human rights violations in occupied Balochistan, adding if her brother has committed any crime he should be given the right to a fair trial under the Geneva conventions. She reiterated her appeal to Baloch nation and Baloch Diaspora to take practical steps for the safe recovery and immediate release of all Baloch abducted persons.Meanwhile, daughter of another Baloch victim of enforced disapperance Safeer Baloch has said that Pakistan FC (Frontier Corps) abducted her father along with his two friends, Abdul Sattar and Agha Abid Shah, from Panjgur on 15 August 2010.Since then families have not heard any word about the whereabouts of the three. She said her father was suffering from a kidney ailment and the entire family is anguished about his fate. She has also appealed to the U.N. and other international human rights groups to take notice of the enforced disappearances of Baloch political and student activists.Meanwhile, the protest camp for the release of Jalil Reki, Dr. Deen Mohammad Baloch, Mir Ghaffar Langov, Ali Asghar Bangulzai, Sana Sangat, Maqbool Zafar Baloch and Master Yahya Baloch in front of the Quetta Press Club entered its 39th day.In Panjgur, family members of Safeer Baloch, Abdul Sattar Baloch and Agha Abid Shah are staging protest for 19 days now, while the family of Jameel Yaqub Baloch of the Balochistan National Party and Rehman Arif Baloch of Baloch Republican Party have also established protest camps in Pasni and Turbat, respectively.People from different walks of life visited the protest camps in solidarity with the families of Baloch victims of enforced disappearances. Talking to reporters, members of the victim families said they have exhausted all democratic means of protest as Islamabad has neither respect nor attaches any value to Baloch lives. They said Wadood Raisani, Ghaffar Langov and Sana Sangat have been missing for over a year now but their families have no clue of their condition.Baloch victim families appealed to the civilized nations of the so-called Free World to help them safeguard their human rights.
