Occupied Balochistan:MASTUNG, Occupied Balochistan: A second activist of a Baloch student body was abducted and became a victim of enforced disappearance in as many days.About a dozen Pakistan security personnel, who came in three cars, raided a medical store near the Mastung Bus Station and whisked away Zakir Bangulzai at gunpoint, according to eyewitnesses account. The enforced abduction by the security personnel took place at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday.The extra law abduction came a day after Pakistan interior minister Rehman Malik promised targeted action in Quetta against Baloch freedom activists.Mr. Bangulzai tried to resist the abduction but was forcefully dragged and dumped into the security force’s car by the armed officials.Like more than 8,000 Baloch activists that became victims of enforced disappearances during the last five years, Zakir Bangulzai’s whereabouts remain unknown to his family and community.Meanwhile, a shut-down strike was observed in Khuzdar district on Wednesday in response to a call by the Baloch Students Organisation (B.S.O. Azad), condemning the state kidnapping of one its members, Imran Baloch, the Daily Times reported.“B.S.O. Azad workers also blocked the R.C.D. highway, disrupting the Quetta-Karachi traffic in Khuzdar. All shops and trading centers remained closed for the day and most of the streets wore a deserted look with very thin traffic,” the report said.The report said dozens of B.S.O. Azad workers put up barricades on the R.C.D. highway, and held a sit-in. The strike continued for several hours and caused massive traffic jam.According to the B.S.O. Azad spokesman, Imran Baloch was kidnapped from the Civil Hospital, Quetta, on Tuesday by the Pakistani security forces.
