Occupied Balochistan, QUETTA: Lawyers boycotted court proceedings across Balochistan on Wednesday in protest against the non-recovery of lawyer Munir Ahmed Mirwan and the murder of Advocate Zaman Marri in alleged detention. The bullet-riddled body of Zaman Marri was recovered from a desolate place of Mastung town.The strike call was given by Balochistan Bar Association (BBA), Supreme Court Bar Association and he Baloch Bar Association. The courts wore a deserted look as lawyers did not appear before courts and all the cases in sessions and before judicial magistrates were adjourned. The boycott was observed in Quetta, Mastung, Kalat, Khuzdar, Lasbela, Naushki, Kech, Mand, Chagai, Sibi, Bolan, Panjgur, Awaran, Qila Abdullah, Zhob, Loralai and other small and big township of the province.Source: Daily times
