London: protest against forced-disappearances in Balochistan

United Kingdom: A fair number of Baluch and other human rights activists held a protest demonstration in London demanding immediate release of Baluch political and student activists who have been abducted and disappeared by Pakistan and Iran. The International Voice for Baloch Missing Persons had called for the protest as part of its continuous campaign against enforced-disappearances of the Baloch activists by Iran and Pakistan. The demonstration was held outside Bush House, BBC World Service. Baluch and British politicians and human rights campaigners also participated. Haci of ICAD (International Committee against disappearances), Ewene McMillan of Medical foundation, Peter Tachchell a renowned British Human Rights activist and a supporter of Baloch cause and Nationalists from Arab and Turk territories under Iranian occupation also participated and expressed their support for the demands of the demonstration. The demonstrators urged the International Human Rights Organisations and the UN to take notice of the ongoing atrocities against the people of Balochistan. The participants of the protest held pictures of the disappeared Baloch and those who had been killed in custody by Pakistan and Iran. Peter Tatchell urged the Baluch workers for solidarity on core issues and campaign collectively. He also said that Baloch Diaspora must step up their efforts to attract the International Media attention towards the plight of Baloch Nation.
