At least six enforced-disappeared Baloch activists killed in cold-blood in two days

Occupied Balochistan – At least six bullet-riddled bodies of Baloch missing persons, including a journalist were recovered from different towns of Balochistan.According to sources, locals recovered a bullet-riddled body from Hanari Nullah of Ferozabad area of Khuzdar and moved it to Civil Hospital Khuzdar for autopsy where he was identified as Sami Baloch. Hospital sources said that Sami had been shot in the head and had clear marks of violence in his body.Sami Baloch, 22, was abducted Pakistani security forces from Sasoal area of Khuzdar some 45 days ago while he was going to his home. His body was recovered on the first day of Eid. He was a student of Balochistan University of Engineering & Technology, Khuzdar and activist of Baloch Students Organisations (BSO-Azad).Similarly, two bodies were recovered from Mastung, some 60km south of Quetta who were later identified as Bashir Ahmad and Asmatullah Baloch.The sources said that Bashir Ahmad was abducted, along with Zahoor Baloch a worker of BSO-Azad last week of August this year from Mastung district and later Zahoor Baloch’s bullet riddled body was recovered last month from the same town of Mastung. The victim Bashir Ahmed was a resident of Mastung.The other victim, Asmatullah Baloch resident of Kardgaap area of Mastung was also a member of BSO-Azad. He was abducted on September 22 this year by unknown armed men while he was on his way to Mastung from Quetta.Similarly, a bullet-riddled body of person identified as Naserullah Baloch was recovered from Kapotho area of Kalat.Sources said that Naserullah was abducted by a group of gunmen from Kalat someone and half month back. He was also hit by bullet on his head and was tortured before being shot dead.Similarly, two bullet-riddled bodies of abducted persons were recovered in Turbat area of Kech District of Makran division on the second day of Eid. The victims had been identified as Hameed Baloch a resident of Gwadar and Hamid Ismail Baloch a resident of Turbat.Hameed Baloch who was also member of Gwadar Press Club and Baloch National Movement was abducted on October 23 from Zero point, some 50 km from Gwadar when he was on his way home on motorbike after attending the wedding party of a relative.‘Both victims were hit bullet on their heads and there were several marks of torture on their bodies’. A letter was also found from the pocket of Hameed Baloch stated “EID gift for Baloch Nation”. Unidentified people had abducted Hamid Ismail along with his brother-in-law Shafiq from his residence in Turbat some two weeks ago; however, after lapse of three days, Shafiq was released. Family sources said that Hamid Ismail was not affiliated with any party.The family members of victims blamed Pakistani government agencies for alleged abduction and killing of their beloved ones.The killing of Hameed Baloch triggered protests and rallies in different towns of Makran division including Gwadar, Turbat, Buleda, Tump and Mand where shutter down and wheel-jam strike was observed on third day of Eid.All shops and markets were closed in said towns and there was no traffic on the highways.At least 42 tortured and bullet -riddled bodies of Baloch abducted persons had been recovered from different parts of Balochistan during last three months.Talking to newsmen, Naserullah Baloch President Voice for Baloch Missing Persons alleged that govt is killing its own citizens in official custody.‘We have eyewitnesses that the victims had been picked up by security forces and personnel of secret agencies but in Balochistan there is no law’, he added.‘More than 45 bodies so far have been recovered since July 4, 2010. After facing disappointment from superior courts, finally we have decided to knock the door of International Humanitarian Organisations and the UN to take notice of the issue of missing persons and also violation of human rights’, he added.
