Occupied Balochistan: Sister of Abdul Hameed Jamal, a missing Baloch youth, demanded of Chief Justice of Pakistan Supreme Court and human rights organizations to play their due role in safe recovery of her brother who, she alleged, was whisked away by personnel of law enforcement agency near Panjgur on December 13, 2010.Addressing a news conference at the Quetta Press Club on Monday, she said that her brother along with a cousin was traveling in a passenger bus from Quetta to Punjgur when armed men in three to four vehicles intercepted the bus and off loaded her brother and cousin near Sabzanami area, 40 kilometers from Panjgur, on 13th December.“The people who were present at that time informed us that the armed men looked like security personnel identified by the way of their conversation,” she said and added that the armed men checked the identity cards of her brother and relative before whisking them away.She said that she had approached to the district administrations in Panjgur and Washuk districts to lodge a first investigation report (FIR) but the authorities had clearly refused to provide any kind of help in this case.She said that her brother had come to Quetta for medical treatment and was admitted at Bolan Medical College Hospital.“After three days of abduction, they (the authorities) released my cousin Shafqat but kept Hameed Jamal in illegal custody,” she informed.
