Missing Langave’s Family Protests in front of Quetta Press Club

Occupied Balochistan: Family members of Abdul Ghaffar Langav, who has been allegedly whisked away by government agencies, staged a protest demonstration in front of the Quetta Press Club, on Tuesday.They accused government, saying it had failed to fulfill its promise to recover the missing people, including Ghaffar Langov.The protesters were carrying posters inscribed with demands and chanting slogans against the government.They called upon national and international human rights organisations to take notice of the increasing number of missing people.Sister of Abdul Ghaffar Langov said the demonstration was meant to tell people that the enforced disappearances had not stopped with the ouster of former president Pervez Musharraf.Instead, she said, incidents of forced disappearances had once again reached an alarming level.She said that a number of missing persons had been killed and their mutilated bodies had been found from different parts of Balochistan.She appealed humanitarian organizations to put up pressure on the Pakistani government and stop alleged atrocities and killing of missing persons.She said that if prompt action was not taken for the recovery of her brother Abdul Ghaffar and other Baloch missing persons they would might be killed in same manner.http://www.thebalochhal.com/2010/12/missing-langaves-family-protests-in-front-of-quetta-press-club
