Pakistan continues Kill & Dump policy in Balochistan, three more dead bodies found

Occupied Balochistan: Three more bullet-riddled Bodies of enforced-disappeared were found in different parts of Balochistan on Tuesday. They bodies were found Uthal, Turbat and Kalat. According to sources local people spotted the body near Murgap area some 15 kilometres away from Turbat city and informed the Police personnel. The body was brought to Civil Hospital Turbat for medical examination where he had been identified as Yasir Baloch S/O Haji Nasir Baloch, a member of Baloch Student Organization (BSO-Azad) Turbat chapter. Hospital sources said that victim received two bullets one in his head and another in chest. He was the resident of Mand area of Kech district. “Yasir Nasir was whisked away by Pakistani security agencies from Gwadar on 14 October 2010 and his missing case was registered in Gwadar police station and case no is 131-2010”. The police confirmed while talking to Daily Balochistanexpress on phone. Later the body was handed over to his relatives for burial and family members accused security agencies of killing him during their illegal detention. According to eye-witnesses account apart from two bullet wounds in the chest and head of young Baloch activist, there were also several inhuman torture wounds in rest of his body. One assumption is that there were drill holes in his body (his body has been pierced with a drill during detention while he was alive). The incident triggered anger among the people in Turbat and nearby townships where most of the business and trade centres were closed for the day. Voice for Baloch Missing Persons Chairman Nasurllah Baloch has said that Yasir Nasir was registered in the list of enforced-disappeared persons from some three months. He said as many as 113 bodies of Baloch political opponents and students have so far been recovered during the past six months from different parts of Balochistan. They were all young and mostly students who were picked and killed as part of Pakistan’s ongoing “Kill and Dump” policy against Baloch Nation. The family member and colleagues have always accused government functionaries of whisking them away and killing them during their illegal detention. They criticised the superior courts for failure to take notice of killings in official custody. Another bullet-riddled body was found from Jiwan area of Kalat on Tuesday, police said. According reports the local people spotted the body near Jiwan area and informed the authorities. The badly tortured and riddled with bullets body was taken to the district Headquarter Hospital Kalat for autopsy, where he has been identified as Nuroze Khan S/O Allah-Bakhsh Mengal. He received multiple bullets in his upper torso, hospital sources confirmed .Sources said that the victims identification was confirmed by a latter found in his pocket. He was whisked away on 1st march from Kalat. Separately another body was found in the Liari CheckPost in the Coastal Highway area, sub-tehsil of Uthal. Upon receiving information the Tehsildar of Liari, Alhai Baksh, rushed to the spot and took the body to a nearby hospital for autopsy where the deceased was identified as Deen Muhammad Marri S/O Sher Muhammad Marri, a resident of Hub industrial town of Balochistan. Deen Mohammad Marri was abducted from Sakuran Raod in Hub – eye-witnesses had confirmed that Marri along with another two friend Azal Khan and Mohammad Shareef were stop and picked by local police accompanied by personnel of Intelligence Agencies on 28/02/2011. Azal Khan Marri was released on 02/03/2011 whereas Deen Mohammad Marri and Mohammad Shareef’s whereabouts remained unknown until. The family of Mohammad Shareef Marri expressed grave concerned about the well-being of Mr Marri and feared that he might be killed in the same manner as his friend and hundreds of other enforced-disappeared Baloch. Shareef’s family urged the International Community and International Human Rights Organisations to take notice of the illegal abduction and in-custody killings of their loved ones. It is also pertinent to mention that Deen Mohammad Marri was first abducted on 05/02/2008 and later released on 06/10/2008. After release he had said that he was brutally tortured and mistreated by Pakistan’s Intelligence agencies and personnel of Military Intelligence. He was still receiving medical treatment for his previous wounds and the mental trauma that he suffered during the detention.
