Washington DC: The Canada co-ordinator of International Voice for Baloch Missing Persons, Mr Aziz Baloch, has attended the US congressional hearing on Balochistan.Mr. Baloch has handed over a letter, on behalf of IVBM, and a [url=http://balochwarna.org/mowali/IVBMP/For%20U.S.%20House%20Rep_List%20of%20Baloch%20Martyres%20July%202010%20to%20Dec%202011.pdf]list of Baloch victims by the “kill and dump”[/url] policy of Pakistani security agencies in Balochistan. [url=http://balochwarna.org/mowali/IVBMP/Final%20IVBMP_letter_U.S%20House%20Committe%20on%20Foreign%20Affairs.pdf]The letter[/url] and list were handed to Scott Cullinane Committee of Foreign Affairs staff Associate, Mr. Dana Rochrabacher the Chairman of Committee, Christine Fair a witnesses Assistant professor of Georgetown university and Mr. Ralph Peters military analyst and author, a Representative of Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch. Aziz Baloch also gave the letter and list to Naseer Kakar a staff of Voice of America and other participants of at the hearing.The congressmen, the witnesses and other participants received the details with great pleasure and expressed their concern on the on-going human rights violations in Balochistan. They assured Mr. Baloch to do their best to raise awareness about the Pakistani and Iranian atrocities against Baloch people. They encouraged Mr. Baloch to continue collecting data of victims of state terrorism and document all the human rights violations and atrocities that Pakistani security forces are committing in Balochistan.The IVBMP delegate thanked the organisers of the hearing and urged them to continue such efforts to highlight the brutal violations of human rights and International law in Balochistan by the state of Pakistan. Mr. Baloch informed the committee members that the root cause of all the atrocities and human rights violations in Balochistan is the illegal occupation of the sovereign state of Balochistan.
