Chairperson of defence of Human rights, Amina janjoha, and Karachi’s co-ordinator, Mohammad Hussain Baloch, visited the camp of Baloch missing person. While talking to the families she condemned Pakistani barbarism on Baloch and express solidarity with the families. She said the work of secret agencies is supposed to be protection of citizens not violation of human rights. She said the disappearances started in Mushrraf era and are continued unabated and hundreds of bodies of those who were disappeared by state agencies have been dumped. She said the commission, which was formed for missing persons, also failed completely. She said Supreme Court should take notice of the case of missing person itself and take actions. Vice chairman of voice for Baloch missing persons said international organizations did not take any positive step to prevent human rights violations against Baloch at the hands of state forces. However, there is a positive breakthrough since September 2012 when WGEID group visited Balochistan to analyse the state crimes and disappearances in Balochistan. “After the release of WGEID report in November 2012 a US representative in UN human rights council has raised the issue of disappearances and extra-judicial killings of Baloch youths at the hands of Pakistani state and has recorded his protest. Baloch nation sees it a positive step,” He added. He said international organizations like UN should not ignore human rights violations and take actions to stop the brutalities before it is too late.Amina Masood Janjoha expressed her concerns on the commission formed for to surface missing persons and requested Chief Justice of Pakistan to take notice and initiate hearings. She said General Musharraf is directly involved in many crimes against humanity like Nawab Akbar Khan’s murder. She said Musharraf is a criminal and should be brought to justice. While talking to newsman from protest camp, she said kidnapping of innocent citizens by state agencies is equal to breaking law. Sections 4-24 of constitution guarantee the human rights of citizens. She said if our loved ones have committed any crimes then they should be presented to court and action should be taken against them according to the law. She said our struggle would continue until all the missing person are recovered.
