Family of Ali Asghar Bangulzai said on Sunday that Pakistani secret agencies abducted Ali Asghar Bangulzai on 18 October 2001 and he is still in their custody.They said there are three cases being heard in Baluchistan high court. “Despite the high court order neither the Pakistani security forces released my father nor have the police registered FIR against the nominees,” Said the Ghulam Farooq Bangulzai, the son of abducted Ali Asghar Bangulzai.Mr Bangulzai’s son held a press conference at Quetta Press Club on Sunday and was accompanied by the chairman of Voice of Baloch Missing Persons Nasrullah Baloch and vice chairman Qadeer Baloch.Mr Ali Asghar’s son said General retired Abdul Qadir Baloch is nominated in the FIR against his father’s abduction. Hence, under articles 62 and 63 of Pakistan’s constitution he should not be allowed to contest elections. He demanded from the election commission to disqualify general retired Qadir Baloch from contesting elections.“We will submit an application to the election commission and urge him to stop general Qadir from taking part in elections. However, if general Qadir Baloch records his true statement in the court and keep his Balochi promise, then we will also consider withdrawing our application” Said Mr Bangulzai’s son.He further said we have been using all peaceful and democratic mediums for the release of my father but the claimants of justice have failed to help us. He said it was question to those institutions who are responsible for providing justice according the law of the land that why have they failed to provide justice to the families of Baloch missing persons?He urged the international human rights organisations and all humane and freedom loving people to play their role for the recovery of his father and thousands of other Baloch abducted persons.He said, “If people nominated in Shahrukh case can be arrested from Dubai in one month, then why can’t the intelligence agencies be arrested who are involved in killing of hundreds of Baloch missing persons and abduction of thousands of Baloch including my father?”He also demanded for the suspension of the pension of retired Brigadier Siddique and inclusion of his name in exit control list (ECL). He said Brigadier Sidiqque should immediately be arrested and presented to court to find out the truth about the fate of my father and other abducted Baloch.
