QUETTA: A delegation of different human rights organisations visited the camp of families of Baloch missing persons to express solidarity with the relatives of disappeared Baloch. While talking to relatives, the delegation said their organization has published several reports about enforced disappearances and Pakistani army atrocities in Balochistan. Pakistan was also accused of being in violation of Geneva Convention and UN laws. They said, “Pakistan should stop Baloch genocide because since we came here we don’t see any elections in Balochistan due to the fearful environment. FC posts are established in every nook and corner where soldiers are humiliating Baloch people in the name of stop and search. “Rickshaw drivers already stopped their business and the local busses, which are the only means of transportation in the city, are also thinking to stop their services due to FC’s interference in their business. Blasts are happening everywhere and we even are also scared and extra-careful while traveling and investigating. Wherever we go there are no candidates only few workers sitting in mourning style.”They said what they grasped from the situation so far is that there is no election in Balochistan. Thousands of Baloch youth are in the custody of Pakistani forces and agencies.Vice chairman of VBMP Qadeer Baloch said Pakistan is a neo-colonialist state and it is treating Baloch as its colony after occupation of Balochistan in 1948. But Baloch have never accepted Pakistani rule in Balochistan and have been resisting the illegal occupation from last 65 years.
