A Delegation of BSO Azad Turbat zone visited the hunger strike camp Voice for Baloch Missing Persons on Monday to express their solidarity with the families of abducted Baloch activists. The VBMP, a human rights organising representing the families of abducted Baloch, set up the hunger strike camp about 1150 days ago for the recovery of Baloch missing persons and demand end to the extra judicial killings and disappearances in occupied Balochistan by Pakistan.The BSO-Azad delegation said that it was a fact and history that Baloch were always ill-treated by every government of Pakistan. “Whether it was the era of General Ayub Khan, Tikka Khan Zia-ul-Haq and Bhutto regime of Pakistan or Iranian king Raza Shah Pehlvi’s, Baloch have always been subjected to torture and dealt with brutalities. They said Baloch resistant against Pakistani occupation went through different stages and eras. In 1948 Baloch resisted under leadership of Agha Abdul Karim Khan and in1958 Nawab Nauroz Khan began arm struggle against Pakistani occupation.The delegation further said after the independence of subcontinent and existence of Pakistan the so called Muslim state’s first victim was Balochistan as it attacked and invaded Baloch country at gun point.Vice chairman of VBMP, Qadeer Baloch, said the history of this resistant movement against foreign occupation links back to 1948 when the first Baloch struggle for liberation begun. “The struggle for freedom is continuing to this day and will continue until Baloch reach to their destination – free Balochistan,” Qadeer Baloch said. Qadeer Baloch further said that even though at different stages the Baloch tried to co-exist with Pakistan but the state have always pushed the Baloch away and forces them to resist against state’s atrocities against Baloch people.
