“We will protest in front of UN office after reaching Islamabad”, said Qadeer Baloch. He further added, “We reject the national party and rights committee’s announcement of greeting the long march in Islamabad”.The participants of long march will not meet any member of parliament in Islamabad. The Voice of Baloch Missing Person (VBMP) long march has completed 100 days march on foot from Quetta to Karachi and is heading toward Islamabad. Qadeer Baloch, the vice chairman of VBMP said from 2000 to February 2014, 19,200 Baloch have been disappeared. One day ago, 25 more Baloch have been abducted from Dera Bugti and Awaraan.” We are not satisfied with the role of supreme court in the case of disappearances in Balochistan”, said Qadeer Baloch while talking online. He further added that 20 people are in his caravan including women and children and they had successfully completed 100 days of walk for justice. Answering to a question Qadeer Baloch said, “the participants of the march will not meet any member of parliament in Islamabad. Our aim is to continue the protest against disappearances in Balochistan and for that we have walked from Quetta to raise awareness among people and we will protest in front of the office of UN in Islamabad. We have been threatened continuously on our way by agencies and police. But we are determined and our morals are high to continue this march”.The long march has reached Deena and will enter Rawalpindi tomorrow. While answering to another question Qadeer Baloch said that Baloch are being disappeared on daily basis but government and its human rights organisations and justice institutions of the state are silent. At present, different areas Balochistan are also being bombed. He said via telephonic interview with INP, “If the international organisations failed to stop the disappearances and recover our loved ones then we will march from Islamabad to Geneva. We are being threatened by Pakistani agencies and security forces in Punjab continuously. If anything happens to any participant of the long march then federal government should be held responsible”. The long march of VBMP will reach Islamabad within net few days where the participants will protest in front of UN office against disappearances in Balochistan. The participants said that UN should do something before they reach Islamabad; else they will march to Geneva from Islamabad. Qadeer Baloch again insisted that they will not meet any member of parliament in Islamabad. Since the national party came in power in Balochistan the disappearances has increased. Baloch are being disappeared on daily basis. He further said that CM Balochistan, Dr Malik after taking oath as chief minister visited them in Quetta and promised them to recover all the Baloch missing persons. But he seems to have forgotten all his promises and is under the influence of his new post. According to Qadeer Baloch, in Sira Alamgir, a black tinted window vehicle stopped by them and the men in the vehicle were dressed in civilian dress and they threatened them to end the march or get ready for the dire consequences in front of the cowardice police. He added, “We are determined to reach Islamabad if anything happen to us then federal government will be responsible”.
