A Baloch citizen was arrested and taken to a local detention centre by plain clothes forces in Zahedan on 24 Jan, 2023.
The identity of this Baloch citizen, “Farooq Hashemzai”, 27 years old, has been confirmed.
In recent days, a large number of Baloch youths have been arrested in different areas of Zahedan city by military forces in plain clothes and uniformed. It is worth mentioning that following the recent protests in Baluchistan, a large number of citizens, including children under the age of 18, have been arrested without reason and against the legal procedure, and the fate of many is unknown.
