Quetta – Reports collected by IVBMP through confirmed sources suggest that the security forces have abducted two Baloch students from Quetta without any legal procedure or court orders, the capital city of Balochistan. Both are students living in Quetta for their studies. They belong to Mashkey town of Awaran district:
1. Keya Ashraf, who was abducted at Lakpass along with his friend Atif on 21st January 2023, is still under illegal detention; his friend Altaf has been released.
2. Salam Azum, a medical student from Manoj Academy, was abducted near the Civil Hospital along with his friend Khuda Rahim on 25th Jan 2023; He is still under the detention of the Pakistan army.
IVBMP urges the govt of Pakistan to release both students immediately or produce them before a court of justice if they committed any illegal act against society or the state.
