The victim has been identified as Talib Nazeer, a resident of Minaz in Buleda, Kech.
According to local sources, Talib Nazeer was a Balochi language singer and also worked as a shopkeeper. On March 1, 2026, armed men reportedly entered his home and opened fire on him, killing him on the spot. He was unarmed and a civilian.
