Extrajudicial Killing of a Baloch Advocate by Pakistani Forces in Panjgur

IVBMP, According to reports on 6 March 2026, a Baloch advocate was allegedly killed by Pakistani forces in the Koh Sabz Palatak area of Panjgur, Balochistan.

The victim has been identified as Hammal Hassani son of Samad Hassani who was practicing as a lawyer. Sources report that he was unarmed at the time of the incident.

Human rights observers state that the incident forms part of a broader pattern of alleged extrajudicial killings and enforced disappearances reported in Balochistan over the past decades.

Human rights advocates have urged international bodies including the United Nations Human Rights Council Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch to take notice of the incident and call for an independent and transparent investigation into the killing.
