* Kidnapped people include HRCP activist, BSO-Azad member * HRCP demands early and safe recovery of all three menBy Mohammad ZafarOccupied Balochistan: State functionaries, in two separate incidents near Pasni and coastal highway Ormara, allegedly whisked away three people, including a human rights activist and members of the BSO-Azad, away on Tuesday.According to a press released issued by HRCP’s Balochistan chapter on Tuesday, Siddique, along with his companion, Yousaf Baloch, was on his way home to Pasni after appearing in a court in Gwadar when two vehicles, usually in the use of secret agencies, intercepted them on the main Gwadar Road of Pasni. The personnel bundled both of them into the vehicle and sped away.“Four police personnel were also in the vehicle and they humiliated and manhandled them when they put up resistance,” HRCP Balochistan Chairman Dr Mehdi Hassan stated in the press release.He said the HRCP has serious concerns that the personnel would subject them to severe torture during their illegal detention. He demanded early and safe release of the three.He also accused the secret agencies of taking hostage one of HRCP’s activists, Siddiq Eido, near Pasni.In the other incident, Ilyas Baloch was whisked away by unidentified people near coastal highway Ormara earlier in the day. Ilyas, who is also a student of the University of Balochistan, was going to Ormara from Pasni in a passenger van when armed men intercepted him and took him away at gunpoint. His relatives claimed that he was kidnapped by security personnel.The Baloch Students Organisation-Azad spokesman said in a statement that Yousaf Baloch and Ilyas Baloch were activists of the BSO-Azad and had been whisked away by security forces.Meanwhile, a complete shutter down strike was observed in Panjgur against the non-recovery of missing Baloch. The strike call was given by the relatives of Abdul Hameed Jamal who was recently kidnapped while travelling in a passenger bus from Quetta to Panjgur. Most of the shops and trading centres remained closed throughout the day and there was also thin traffic on the roads.The relatives have demanded the chief justice of Pakistan and human rights organisations play their role for early recovery of the missing Baloch.
