The Vice chairman of Voice for Baloch Missing Persons, Qadeer Baloch, on Tuesday, said that Supreme Court has failed to hear the Baloch mothers’ and sisters’ cry for justice. Talking to a delegation who visited the VBMP’s camp outside Karachi Press Club, mama Qadeer said, “Zakir Majeed Baloch, Dr Deen Mohammad Baloch, Mohammad Ramzan Baloch, Sami Mengal, Ghafoor Baloch, Abdul Wahab Baloch and thousands of other enforced-disappeared Baloch are still missing.”He said nobody knew about the condition and well-being of the abducted Baloch activists and their mothers’ [families] distress. “Only those mothers can feel the pain and agony of families of enforced-disappeared Baloch, who have lost a child or their loved one have been abducted and are now being tortured in secret prisons,” said mama Qadeer Baloch. He said abducted Baloch did not rob anyone’s house or steal anything; in fact they are suffering torture, pain and humiliation for Balochistan and Baloch nation’s freedom. “Many have been tortured to death for the basic demand of freedom.” He said since 1948 thousand of Baloch have sacrificed their lives while resisting against the occupiers. “The bravery, well-organised strategy and ideological maturity of sons of soil have psychologically defeated the enemy. That’s why the enemy is committing savagery, barbarism and inhumane atrocities including the ‘killed and dump policy, against innocent civilians in Balochistan,” the leader of VBMP said. He said the enemy was trying to put out the fire of freedom that has ignited in the hearts of Baloch youth but, he said, “it is not only difficult but it is impossible to deter the Baloch from regaining their freedom.”Mama Qadeer said Baloch freedom struggle has reached to a stage where a small mistake could push the struggle centuries back whereas the Baloch people’s determination and will remained unchanged.
