Quetta: A delegation of lawyers and people from other walks of life visited the hunger strike camp of families of Baloch missing persons in Quetta to express solidarity and assured the families of their support. They said Justice retired Javed IQbal’s statement on arrival in Quetta that external forces and agencies are behind abductions in Balochistan has proven that for Baloch justice is blind. His statement is not the symbol of justice but expression of chauvinism towards Baloch. According to them whoever disagrees with them will be considered traitors and will be dealt as they are against the ideology and are a danger to the state.Vice chairman of VBMP, Qadeer Baloch, said the blindness of law is a fact in Balochistan. Justice retired Javed Iqbal’s visit to Afghanistan’s jails in pol e charkha and Pakthiya to see the Pakistani prisoners can only show his narrow-mindedness toward Baloch because he never bothered to visit Baloch prisoners in Pakistani torture cells and jails. Instead of giving relief and justice to Baloch in Balochistan Javed Iqbal’s demand of further resources and facilities for forces shows he is helping and arming the criminals rather then advocating for the rights of affected.
