Mama Qadeer threatened to shut the protest camp or meet the fate of killed activists

Quetta: Mama Qadeer, the Vice Chairman of Voice for Baloch Missing Persons, has said that he has been threatened by Pakistani agencies. “I was told that I have celebrated 11 August, Independence Day of Balochistan, along with few other female activists and I should stop such activities or else I have to bear very dire consequences,” Mama Qadeer said in a press conference.Mama Qadeer said my reply was simple and stern, “I am always ready to sacrifice myself for my motherland.”The hunger strike camp of families of Baloch missing persons entered in 1239th day on Wednesday. A delegation of Baloch National Voice visited the camp to express solidarity with the families.The delegation of BNV said that Baloch living in every part of the world should be connected to the Baloch liberation movement. The Baloch freedom fighters are struggling for the independence of Balochistan, it is obligatory upon whole Baloch nation to participate in this struggle. It is their national responsibility to unite under the single flag of Balochistan. The sacrifices given in the way of struggle to achieve liberation motivate the whole nation.Mama Qadeer, while talking to the delegation said, we appeal Secretary General of United Nations, Mr. Ban Ki Moon, to play his role in safe recovery of Baloch missing persons. He said, “Cases should be registered against the perpetrators in accordance with International laws and Geneva Convention should be abided in treating the prisoners of war. At least 18000 Baloch have been abducted, 1500 mutilated bodies have been dumped among them 500 have been target killed therefore cases should be registered against Army generals, ISI and Military intelligence agencies who are behind all this carnage.”
