Khuzdar: The family of abducted social and political activists Mr Shams Baloch has said on Friday that he is being punished for crimes that he did not commit. In their press release the family further said that Shams was a social and political activist and always believed in helping people regards of their creed, colour and religion. “Shams Baloch has been arbitrarily abducted because of his social and political activism. He was neither a thief nor a criminal in fact he served as Khuzdar City Councillor as well,” the family of Mr Baloch said. They further said that due Shams Baloch’s absence his family and children are suffering from psychological trauma. “His children cannot even go to school and his entire family is going through a hard time.”They said Mr Shams Baloch is completely innocent and he has not committed any wrongdoings. “We appeal the respected court to play their role for the release of Shams Baloch. If he has committed any crimes punished according the law of the land then family will have no objections.”
