OSLO(NORWAY): Baloch Community in Norway on Sunday held a torch bearers rally here condemning what they described an ethnic cleansing of Baloch people in Iran and Pakistan through target killings, illegal detention, hostage taking and executing them at public places. They took out a rally from Oslo Stream Station and after passing through different streets reached in front of the Parliament House, Norway, where they held a noisy demonstration. The participants were carrying placards which inscribed with slogans to support of their demands. They chanted full throat slogans against Pakistani and Iranian governments for prosecuting the Balochs.
Addressing the protestors, leader of Baloch Community Norway, Abdul Rasool Baloch and Bizen Baloch accused Pakistani and Iranian forces of killing Baloch people during in illegal detention. “The security forces carried out a massive security operation in eastern Balochistan and using gunship helicopters. A score of Baloch people had been arrested and detained in various torture cells,” they alleged. They said that now bullet-riddled dead bodies are being recovered from desolated areas of Balochistan.
The relatives of missing persons have been carrying out hunger strikes to catch the attention of international humanitarian organization for years but it was matter of great concern that international community did not take action and remained silent. Innocent Balochs are being hanged at public places in Iran. The participants of rally demanded the United Nations intervention and use its influence with Pakistan and Iran ending ethnic cleans and killings in custody.
