[b]Arrested on 1st of May 2011:[/b] The Baloch National Voice (BNV) said in a press release that Pakistani intelligence agencies and Frontier Corps (FC) has arrested 19 persons including three women and five children in a raid on an isolated, Marri Baloch populated, area in Windar town of Balochistan.

Local sources told Balochwarna that “more than dozen vehicles of Pakistani security forces and intelligence agencies Personnel besieged a small village of Marri Baloch and carry out a search operation for several hours. The security force found nothing harmful or illegal in possession of the villagers. The entire population has been made hostages in their houses, brutally tortured and humiliated the women and children and eventually arrested 19 people”.

The arrested and disappeared people include three women, five children, 80 years old head of the house Ahmad Khan S/o Peerhan Marri, Shabbo Marri, Rahmdil Marri sons of Ahmad Khan Marri, Zaman khan Marri, Nadir khan Marri, Kareem Baksh Marri sons of Bangul Khan Marri, Rasool Baksh Marri, Noor Khan Marri sons of Gahwar Khan Marri, Fazal s/o Lashkari Marri, Wazeer Khan s/o Miroo Khan Marri and Nazar Marri.

[b]Body discovered on 2nd of June 2011: [/b] Two more bullet-riddled bodies of illegally detained Baloch persons were found in Coastal Highway near Kund Malir area of Uthal, some 400 kilometers away from Balochistan’s Capital, Quetta, on Thursday.

According to local Balochistan Levies officials, some passers-by spotted the bodies and informed the nearby Levies Thana. Personnel found slips from each body in which their names were written. The bodies were shifted to the District Headquarter Hospital for autopsy.

They were identified as 70 year-old Ahmad Khan Marri S/O Peehan Marri, resident of Vander, and Tariq Essa Baloch, resident of Turbat City. Ahmad Khan Marri was whisked away along with his other 19 relatives by Pakistan police and personnel of Intelligence agencies from his house in Vinder area on April 30th, 2011. The other 18 members are still missing.
