Pakistani security forces raided the houses of a Baloch human rights activist in Gulistan-e-Johar Karachi on 28th October 2017 and abducted nine people including Baloch Human Rights Organization information secretary.

According to news, details the Sindh Rangers and intelligence agencies raided a house of Nawaz Atta, information secretary, in Gulistan-e-Johar area of Karachi Sindh.At least nine people including 8 years old Aftab son of Mohammad Younis were abducted during the unwarranted raid. The other victims have been named as Nawaz Atta son of Atta Mohammad the information secretary of BHRO, 17 years old Abid son of Ashraf , 17 years old Farhad son of Anwar , 18 years old Sajjad son Yar Jan , Ulfat son Altaf, Rawat son of Taj Mohammad, Mohammad Arif son of Mohammad Younis and Ilyas son of Faiz Mohammad.Aftab Mohammad Younis has been released on 24th April of 2018 after 187 days of illegal custody.
