Chahbahar: according to Rasank news, a Baloch student Shahab Rigi S/O Mahmoud was arrested by Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) intelligence forces in Chahbahar on December 3, 2022. He is a student in Shipbuilding at Chahbahar Maritime University in Balochistan.
According to the report, he was arrested in front of the university in the evening time by IRGC intelligence officers and transferred to one of the detention centers of this institution in Chabahar an informed source says he was assaulted in the (IRGC) intelligence detention center and his right hand was broken.
This source added: “Today, on Monday, December 5, 2022, his trial was supposed to be held, but it was cancelled without any reason or notification to his family.” According to a family follow-up, of Rigi’s case IRGC intelligence forces announced his transfer to Zahedan and accused him of being a protest leader while according to one of the students who say Baloch student Rigi did not participate in the protests, and only November 23, 2022, he highlighted the problems of the university and the demands of the students in the Azadi Tribune, which was held in the presence of the Chahbahar Maritime University officials.
