Turbat: ( February 11, 2023) Zaman Baloch, s/o Sipahan, resident of Balgatar, district Kech. He was abducted from Turbat on February 10, 2023. His whereabouts are still unknown.
He was forced to disappear on June 9, 2022, and after six months in custody, he was released. Now again, he was abducted by Pakistani security forces.
In Balochistan, enforced disappearances are at the pinnacle and Pakistani lawmakers and the judiciary appear weak and incapable of stopping ongoing serious human rights violations in Balochistan. At the same time, state security forces and intelligence agencies are committing crimes against humanity, violating Pakistan’s constitutions and international law.
