Quetta(22-03-2023): In the statement given by the sister of Shah Fahad to the journalists during the press conference, she said that my brother Shah Fahad, 22 years old, is Hafiz Ul-Quran, who was abducted by the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) on March 16, 2022, from our house located in Babu Mohalla Kharan.
Instead of rescuing my brother, we are now being threatened and harassed, so we shouldn’t raise our voices; we shouldn’t name the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) in the Police First Information Report (FIR) and the reports given to the Commission on Missing Persons and mention unknown people’s names.
She said that earlier, Shah Fahad forcibly disappeared along with her elder brother Ghulam Fahad on 26 August 2016. Shah Fahad was only fifteen years old at that time, he was released after a few days, and the elder brother was released after three years of enforced disappearance.
In the end, she said that we appeal that my brother Shah Fahad be brought to the surface if he has committed any crime or there is any accusation against him. He should be presented in the courts under the country’s law, but justice should be given to us.
