International Voice for Baloch Missing Persons (IVBMP) learned that family members of a Baloch religious activist living in Germany were arrested last week after trying to cross the European border from Turkey and Greece, and they are now locked up in a Turkish Adrene deportation camp. IVBMP fears that they could be deported to Iran anytime.
According to reports, these Baloch citizens were identified as Shehla Azizi son of Muhammad, Zuhi Alami son of Muhammad Ibrahim, Atna Alami son of Muhammad Ibrahim, Nahad Baki Meshik son of Mahmud, Daniyal Alami son of Mateen and Adnan Seljuqi Osmani Khani son of Abdul Sattar.
According to the Baloch news agency, if the members of the Baloch family are deported to Iran, they will face the threat of arrest, torture, imprisonment and heavy punishments by the regime’s intelligence and security agencies.
International Voice for Baloch Missing Persons (IVBMP) urges Amnesty, Red Cross and European Union member countries to intervene and help these children to get reunited with their fathers.
