IVBMP, According to reports, Pakistani forces detained a Baloch driver on January 13, 2026, near the Main Army Camp in Mashkay, Awaran district of Balochistan, while he was carrying passengers in his vehicle.
The victim has been identified as Fateh Baloch, son of Shahdad, a resident of Mewar in Mashkay.
According to the family, Fateh Baloch worked as a driver to earn his livelihood and support his family. On January 13, 2026, army personnel reportedly stopped his vehicle near the Main Army Camp in Mashkay and took him into custody. The family states that the forces acknowledged his detention, and his father was allegedly told that his son would be killed.
After nearly one and a half months of disappearance, Fateh Baloch’s bullet-riddled body was found on March 4, 2026, in the Mashkay River.
The family has appealed to higher authorities and human rights organizations to take notice of the incident and ensure justice and accountability.
