Killed on 11 May 2011: Occupied Balochistan: Five more decomposed, mutilated and bullet-riddled bodies of Baloch missing persons, including a teacher, were found from Panjgur, Khuzdar and the Quetta, the capital of Balochistan, on Wednesday ending the mysteries of their families who have been on hunger strike for months in Islamabad, Karachi and Quetta. As many as 149 dead bodies of Baloch missing persons or political opponents had so far been found for the past nine months. Panjgur police recovered three decomposed and mutilated bodies dumped in ditch near a seasonal river.
“Some labourers were working near the seasonal river known Padran and spotted one the mutilated bodies and the shoes of two others. They informed the residents of the area and the local authorities. People rushed to scene and found another two bodies in a ditch – mass grave,” said local sources. The bodies were shifted to a nearby hospital where the relative have identified them as Agha Abid Shah, a former Vice chairman of BSO (Baloch Student Organisation), Master Abdul Sattar, a government teacher, and Safeer Baloch who were whisked away on 15 August last year from a hospital in Panjgour town area of Balochistan.
“It seems that the three persons were killed more than a month ago and their bodies were dumped in a desolated place of Panjgur,” an official said. However, family members had identified their beloved ones through remains and traditional Balochi shoes. The family members said that the security forces had abducted three people away. “We also lodged FIR against the security forces,” one of the relatives said.
