According to the Balochistan Human Rights Document Network, as of today, Wednesday, February 19, 2026, Roya Raisi continues to be held in custody, and there is still no information about her condition or legal status.

Roya Raisi, 26, the daughter of Gul Muhammad from Chabahar, was arrested on January 8, 2026, during nationwide protests.

One of Roya’s relatives, Ms. Azeen Mirlashari, shared her photo on Instagram and wrote: “She was not just a protester; she was the breadwinner and the main support for her elderly parents. Her family faces countless difficulties, beyond the trembling voices of her parents who are unable to cry out.”

It is noteworthy that in a previous report, the Balochistan Human Rights Document Network stated that Roya was arrested in Chabahar along with Parisa Siddiqui. After 41 days, there is still no information available regarding the status of Roya’s case or Parisa’s fate.
