IVBMP, According to reports, on February 20, 2026, the bodies of two previously missing individuals were recovered from Surab. The victims had allegedly been shot dead, and their bodies showed signs of torture.

One of the deceased has been identified as Murtaza, son of Yahya, a resident of the Marap area of Surab. He worked as a farmer.

The second body was identified as Taimoor, son of Imam Bakhsh, also a resident of Marap, Surab, and a farmer by profession.

According to the families of the victims, Murtaza and Taimoor were taken into custody by Pakistani forces on February 9, 2026, at around 5:00 A.M. from a FC checkpoint on the RCD Road in Surab and were forcibly disappeared. On February 20, 2026, their bodies, bearing signs of torture, were recovered from Surab.
