Chabahar: According to reports, on 5 December 2022, another Baloch student from Chabahar city was arrested by Iranian security forces and transferred to an unknown location.
This Baloch citizen has been identified as Mehran Shahnawazi S/O Nowroz, a student of Chemistry at Khash Maritime University. He is a resident of Chabahar.
According to an informed source, Mehran was arrested by Iranian security forces from a street in Chabahar, and despite his family contacting several government agencies to inquire about his condition, they did not get a proper response.
It should be noted that after nationwide protests and strikes in Balochistan, many Baloch citizens have been arrested by Iranian security forces and army personnel and the fate of many of them is unknown.
