Enforced Disappearance Ends in Extrajudicial Killing: Ali Niyaz Ahmed Found Dead After 7 Days

TURBAT, KECH, BALOCHISTAN : Ali Niyaz Ahmed, a 24-year-old petrol pump owner from Jusak, Turbat, has been brutally killed in custody following a week of enforced disappearance.
On June 30, 2026, at around 6:00 PM, Ali was forcefully abducted from his own business in Jusak by Pakistani Military Intelligence (MI) and a state-backed death squad arriving in two Surf vehicles. For seven agonizing days, his family was left completely in the dark with no FIR registered or any information regarding his whereabouts.
On July 6, 2026, the ordeal ended in tragedy when Ali’s bullet-riddled body was dumped near the CPEC Road in Jusak. His remains bore multiple gunshot wounds and extensive visible signs of severe torture.
The International Voice for Baloch Missing Persons (IVBMP) strongly condemns this horrific extrajudicial killing. This incident highlights a recurring, lawless pattern across Balochistan where abducted individuals are dumped dead in fake encounters or target killings while accountability remains non-existent. We urgently call on global human rights watchdogs, including Amnesty International and the UN, to immediately intervene, investigate these systemic atrocities, and demand justice for Ali’s family.
