June 20, 2026: The International Voice for Baloch Missing Persons (IVBMP) strongly condemns the targeted killing of a 33-year-old Baloch civilian, Gul Badeen Notezai, by Pakistani military forces in the Dalbandin area of district Chaghi, Balochistan.
According to verified field reports, the incident occurred on the evening of June 17, 2026, at approximately 6:30 PM. Gul Badeen Notezai, son of Safar Khan Notezai and a resident of Zahoor Colony in Dalbandin, was shot and killed on a public road by army personnel. Following the fatal shooting, Pakistani military forces removed his body from the scene, which was subsequently transferred to a local hospital.
This latest incident highlights a deeply disturbing and ongoing pattern of extrajudicial killings, arbitrary enforcement, and severe human rights violations perpetrated by state authorities across Balochistan. The brazen nature of this daylight killing on a public road underscores the climate of total impunity enjoyed by Pakistani security forces operating in the region.
The IVBMP emphasizes that such acts violate fundamental international laws, including the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR), to which Pakistan is a signatory.

In light of this egregious violation of the right to life, the International Voice for Baloch Missing Persons urgently calls upon the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC), Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch, and the broader global community to break their silence on the systemic violence facing the Baloch people. We demand an immediate, transparent, and independent international investigation into the unlawful execution of Gul Badeen Notezai, ensuring that the military personnel responsible for authorizing and carrying out this shooting are held strictly accountable under international human rights standards. Furthermore, we urge global democratic bodies to exert diplomatic pressure on Pakistani state authorities to bring an immediate end to the culture of total military impunity and state-sponsored violence that continues to devastate Balochistan.
The International Voice for Baloch Missing Persons stands in absolute solidarity with the grieving family of Gul Badeen Notezai and reiterates its unwavering commitment to documenting Human violations in Balochistan and advocating for justice on global platforms.
