Karachi: several political and social workers visited the hunger strike camp of VBMP to express solidarity with families of abducted Baloch. While talking to the visitors Mama Qadeer said Baloch underwent agonies in 1948 at the hands of Pakistan but prevented their dignity and remained steadfast even under the rain of bullets. Vice chairman said the Baloch nation considers crying on dead a sign of weakness. He further said that although Pakistan has signed the international human rights declaration against torture on 17 April 1987 and revalidated it on 3 june 2010 despite this it is continuously violating human rights in Balochistan. Since june 2010 Pakistan has killed more then 800 Baloch in custody whereas more then 5000 have been disappeared. He said no any agreement would be effective if it is not enforced to abide by. Mama Qadeer said I am happy that my son is also among the Baloch martyrs but I am very worried about Pakistani atrocities on Baloch and I also daily receive threatening letters in my house. But I don’t care about these because I believe death will come one day and it is better to die in a dignified way. “Today every Baloch is going through state brutality but those will be remembered who are struggling for the motherland despite all these difficulties,” said Mama Qadeer.
