Karachi: The Hunger strike camp of disappeared Baloch has entered into 1073 days. A delegation of Sindhi nationalists visited the camp to express solidarity with the families of enforced disappeared Baloch. While talking to VBMP members, Sindhi nationalists said that in the beginning Sindhis had accepted the so-called ideology of state but gradually when they realized that this ideology of Pakistan is opposed to Sindhi interests, they denounced it. But yet their resistance is not well organized. The delegation said Pakistani officials are self-claimed protectors of Islam and they have adopted warrior ideologies with the support of state. Vice chairman of VBMP, Mama Qadeer, said Pakistan is fundamentalist state and the state functionaries are governing for the very same ideology. Therefore Pakistan army is above law here and works with impunity.He said the Army is not answerable to anyone; whatever the Army did in past and doing now is the result of this unnatural state. Police cannot enter in cantonment areas without permission of Army. Even chief Justice of Pakistan has expressed his insignificance. “The supreme court has accepted that 600 abducted Baloch have been killed and dumped by the state death squads. The killed include many Baloch intellectuals, journalists and political workers. Despite this and ample evidences against Pakistani Army and agencies Supreme Court of Pakistan is unable to put anyone on trial and instead announced 10 lac rupees compensation which was rejected by the families of disappeared Baloch. He said the state which starts war against their own people automatically looses the constitutional reason to govern them.
