PANJGUR, Balochistan — The body of a 15-year-old Baloch student, Saif Jan, was found dumped on Airport Road in Panjgur on June 29, 2026, three months after he was forcibly disappeared by Pakistani state-backed death squads during the holy month of Ramadan.
Saif Jan, son of Faiz Muhammad and a resident of Chitkan, Panjgur, is the latest minor to fall victim to the brutal policy of custodial killings. The International Voice for Baloch Missing Persons (IVBMP) highlighted the severe double standard where peaceful rights leaders are handed life sentences while the perpetrators behind the extrajudicial executions of minors enjoy complete state impunity.
The IVBMP strongly condemns this heinous extrajudicial murder of a child. The organization urgently appeals to international human rights organizations and the global democratic community to break their silence and take immediate action against the ongoing systemic oppression and humanitarian crisis in Balochistan.
