PANJGUR, Balochistan : A 20-year-old Baloch youth has been forcibly disappeared following a pre-dawn raid by Pakistani security forces and local state-backed militia members (death squads) in Panjgur district.
The joint operation took place at approximately 4:00 AM on June 29, 2026, in the Haji Sabzal Bazaar area of Paroom, Panjgur. Armed personnel forcefully entered the residence and abducted Azizullah, son of Rashid. Azizullah, who works as a local driver, was moved to an undisclosed location, and his current whereabouts remain completely unknown to his family.
The International Voice for Baloch Missing Persons (IVBMP) strongly condemns this ongoing wave of arbitrary abductions targeting ordinary Baloch citizens. The IVBMP urgently appeals to the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC), Amnesty International, and human rights bodies worldwide to:
Formally intervene and pressure the state authorities to immediately reveal Azizullah’s location and ensure his safe return.
Take note of the systematic operations conducted by Pakistani state security forces alongside local death squads to suppress the Baloch population with complete impunity.
