Two Baloch Youths Forcibly Disappeared Following Brutal Midnight Raids in Kech

KECH, Balochistan : In a series of aggressive midnight raids, Pakistani security forces targeted two separate households in the Mand Gwark area of Kech district, forcibly disappearing two young Baloch men and terrorizing their families.
The first raid took place at approximately 3:00 AM on July 2, 2026, when armed personnel stormed the residence of Rasul Bakhsh. Forces forcefully detained his son, Sohail Rasul Bakhsh. During the operation, security personnel subjected the women and children inside the house to physical violence and harassment, before confiscating all family mobile phones. When the family attempted to resist the abduction, forces threatened to abduct their other son as well.
Merely half an hour later, at around 3:30 AM, forces targeted the nearby home of Aziz Baloch. Armed personnel broke into the house and abducted his son, Hamza Aziz. Both youths were moved to an undisclosed location, and authorities have refused to provide any information regarding their safety or whereabouts to their deeply distressed families.

The International Voice for Baloch Missing Persons (IVBMP) strongly condemns these lawless late-night raids, home invasions, and the collective punishment of Baloch families. The IVBMP urgently appeals to the United Nations, Human Rights Watch, and the global democratic community to take serious notice of these state atrocities, demand an immediate end to the targeting of youth in Balochistan, and ensure the swift and safe recovery of Sohail Rasul Bakhsh and Hamza Aziz.
