Two Baloch Brothers Arbitrarily Detained and Killed in Custody by Pakistani ForcesKECH, Balochistan :In a tragic incident, two brothers, Imam and Muhammad Umar, sons of Muhammad Ilyas, were extrajudicially killed by Pakistani military forces after being taken into custody.The victims, residents of Mand Shaban Bazar who worked as laborers in Jiwani, were traveling back home on Friday, July 10, 2026. According to local witnesses, their motorcycle ran out of fuel near Balicha Cross in Kech, forcing them to stop. While waiting, a passing commuter agreed to bring them petrol; however, upon his return, he witnessed military personnel surrounding the brothers and heard immediate gunfire. The bullet-riddled bodies of the two young men were subsequently handed over by the police to their grieving relatives and buried today in their ancestral graveyard in Soro, Mand.The International Voice for Baloch Missing Persons (IVBMP) strongly condemns this horrific custodial execution. We call on international human rights bodies to urgently investigate this blatant war crime and hold the security forces accountable for target killings across Baloch
