According to details, the body found in Bill Nagor yesterday was identified as 16-year-old Mujahid, son of Zahid. He was allegedly detained by Pakistan’s Frontier Corps (FC) on the morning of 16 July 2026 at around 7:00 AM from Bill Nagor, Dasht, Turbat district, Balochistan, after which he was reportedly subjected to enforced disappearance.
According to local residents, he was allegedly killed in a staged encounter on 21 July 2026, and his body was later left in a forest in Dasht.
Reports of alleged extrajudicial killings are not new in Balochistan. In previous cases, many people who had reportedly disappeared while in custody were later found dead. Baloch nationalist parties and human rights activists have been protesting against such incidents for the past two decades.
