On July 16, 2026, Bada Bugti, an innocent 27-year-old labourer and son of Hear Deen Nousani Bugti, was extrajudicially killed by the Pakistani Army in the Kad-Koocha area of Mastung. A hardworking resident of Pir Koh, Dera Bugti, he was earning an honest living to support his family when state forces took his life hundreds of kilometres away from his home without any charge or legal process. This deliberate killing of an ordinary worker demonstrates that no Baloch civilian—whether a student, teacher, or daily wage labourer is safe from unchecked state violence. The unchecked policy of summary executions and illegal detentions continues to deny innocent families basic justice and dignity.
The International Voice for Baloch Missing Persons continues to raise its voice for innocent civilians suffering under systemic state suppression across Balochistan. We urgently appeal to the international community, human rights organizations, the United Nations, and the UN Committee on Enforced Disappearances to take immediate, concrete action against ongoing enforced disappearances and extrajudicial killings. Global authorities must hold the state accountable for its severe human rights violations, establish independent international investigations, and secure the safe, immediate release of all forcibly disappeared Baloch individuals.
