EXTRAJUDICIAL KILLING OF 20-YEAR-OLD FSc STUDENT KAMRAN BALOCH IN KHUZDAR

20

On July 8, 2026, Kamran Baloch, an innocent 20-year-old FSc student and son of Lal Baksh from the Moola area of Khuzdar, was targeted and murdered by state-backed death squads in Khuzdar. This ruthless killing of a young student highlights the dangerous reality faced by innocent Baloch youth, where target killings, extrajudicial executions, and enforced disappearances have created an climate of constant fear. Families across Balochistan live in daily grief, repeatedly forced to receive the dead bodies of their missing loved ones instead of welcoming them home. The continuous loss of innocent lives demonstrates a severe human rights crisis where no student, teacher, or civilian remains safe from state violence.
The International Voice for Baloch Missing Persons continues to raise its voice for innocent civilians suffering under systemic state suppression across Balochistan. We urgently appeal to the international community, human rights organizations, the United Nations, and the UN Committee on Enforced Disappearances to take immediate, concrete action against ongoing enforced disappearances and extrajudicial killings. Global authorities must hold the state accountable for its severe human rights violations, establish independent international investigations, and secure the safe, immediate release of all forcibly disappeared Baloch individuals.
